You need to be open later and bring back the old menu. Ruyi WAS the best restaurant here and they close early (1:30am) and cut 50% of the menu. You’ll make more money from the night crowd. And if you are going to limit hours of operation, stop at 5am (not 3:15am) for table games. Even if you don’t make a lot on poker, it just makes business sense. It also brings gamblers to other games while they are waiting for a poker table. It’s a good crowd of people and will keep traffic coming in. Where’s poker? This should be easy to bring back (because dealers get to keep their own tips). I’m 100% sure you will continue to have a problem hiring workers and bringing guests back in without a mandatory mask policy.
Given Delta and Omicron, it’s STUPID not to require masks of all guests. With issues hiring dealers (or any workers) at this time, it’s a great way to limit clientele and still have some open spots for higher-limit players. I’m used to playing higher stakes - so I LIKE the fact it’s $15 / $25 min for UTH, roulette, blackjack, etc. If you bring back smoking, you’ll lose workers and guests like me. I’ve been here a lot and there are some improvements and some drawbacks.
